Beach24H

CASE STUDY · EVENT, SYSTEMS AND CONTENT

24 hours of an event. Operations and communication at the same pace.

I organised Beach24H on São Martinho do Porto beach and built the digital operation: website, registration, check-in, staff tools, photography and video production during the event.

Prepare the team and follow what happens on the ground.

A 24-hour event needs accessible staff information and communication that follows the experience. The work connects preparation, participant arrival and coverage on the day.

Prepare, welcome and communicate.

Photography: from the stage to the people.

Photography records instructors, participants and the event’s relationship with the beach. It is a production strand that complements video.

Working principleShow the people and the place.

Produce while the event happens.

I produced, edited and published 23 videos on the day. Video and photography cover different moments, from training beside the sea to the night-time atmosphere.

Working principleCommunicate at the pace of the experience.

A base for operations.

I brought together the protocol, staff schedule, site map, check-in and registrations in one staff application. The public website presents the event; the internal tool supports team tasks.

Working principlePut information where the team uses it.

Check-in and kits in one journey.

The system supports participant or team search, bike details, check-in confirmation, kit delivery and notes. Individual and team registrations share the same tool, with Google Sheets in the background.

Working principleConnect participant arrival with the team’s records.

A delivery connecting operations and production.
